I have always supported police and recognize not only the vital work that they do but also the sacrifices that they make to “serve and protect” our communities. From my time in NJROTC during high school to my college job serving as a member of campus security, I have had the privilege of having friends in the law enforcement community. Although my chosen profession has been in healthcare, the respect that I have for police remains as does my continued support of law enforcement. In addition to my experience with law enforcement, I also have relatives who served on the Manchester Police Department and my wife’s late father was an MP in the Air Force. In addition, her grandfather served as a patrolman on the Providence Police Department. The connections that I have to police and law enforcement solidifies my support, especially now when police – and the law enforcement profession – are under attack.
